Summer Time

It's been awhile since I sent some pictures. Oreo(our cat) has learned some new tricks. We have been pretty busy this summer. We went to the Dells with the Splinters, Herberts (Keith's cousins) and Kristina, Nathan and Mom L. We had a great time. It was a really hot weekend so the water slides and wave pool were great. Amanda went on her first big roller coaster. It was called Pegasus. On her first time she had her hands up in the air the whole way. Her first words after the ride were, "Can we go again". She is going to be a dare devil and go on the coasters with her dad when she's older. Kyle likes them, but only the tame ones. We took him on some last year in Sea World, TX, and let's just say every time we mention Steel Eel, well you ask him the next time you see him. I don't have any pictures of the Dells though because I took them with a disposable and haven't used all of the pictures yet.







We did however have a party and the Listermann's. Mom L invited all of Dorothy's kids and husband Eddie and a few other relatives. We had a fun pool party. It was a little cold (the water and temp), but that didn't stop the kids from wanting to swim all day. They guys all played horseshoes.




Today we went to the Dupage County Fair with my mom and sister and her kids. It was hot. But we had fun. My sister and her fiance were showing cattle and sheep at the fair. Her fiance's family owns the animals. So we watched them show the cows and some sheep. The kids were getting a little restless so we went to the pony rides and the petting zoo. We also saw some pig races on foot and in the water. That was a first.
